What is the IT and Internet Certificate ?
The C2i certificate is the logical continuation of the B2i certificate. This certificate proves that the holder has mastered certain IT and network tool skills. The certificate has been established in order to achieve the goal of developing, strengthening and validating mastery of information and communication technologies by students at institutions of higher learning. It is expected to be available on two levels:
Level 1: requirements applicable to all students and continuous education interns. This first level must be acquired at graduate-degree level at the latest, but is preferably achieved at the beginning of higher-education studies. It will be required for entry into IUFMs (teaching-training colleges) in the long-term.
Level 2: more advanced requirements, based on the occupational focus of each training programme (pre-vocational and vocational education). This second level must be acquired at master’s-degree (second year) level.C2i Level 2 certificates available:
1. C2i Level 2 for teachers
2. C2i Level 2 for law students
3. C2i Level 2 for students undertaking health-related studies
4. C2i Level 2 for engineering students (currently under development)
